http://www.sm2sunshinesquadron.co.uk/ S/M2 - 1909 to 2002 SM2 Sunshine Squadron Reunion 2013 12th Anniversary Saturday 02nd March 2013 Weston Mill Oak Villa Sports & Social Club Ferndale Rd, Plymouth, Devon, PL2 2EL.  01752 363352  As per normal, we will hold a Charity Raffle with a First Prize of a Silver Plate in a Presentation Box and a Wooden Stand to display it on, other prizes will be made up of donated bottles etc Last year we attempted to sell 500 raffle tickets for your   ALL IN – ALL OUT MONEY RAFFLE £2.00 a ticket The breakdown of the five prizes will be the same as last year First Prize        equal to 50% of takings. Second Prize   equal to 25% of takings. Third Prize      equal to 13% of takings. Fourth Prize    equal to 8% of takings. Fifth Prize       equal to 4% of takings. This year’s chosen charity is HM S/M Affray Memorial Fund. The lead chap on this venture is Martin Allen, he’s the son of dear old Herbert F Allen, affectionately known as Bert. Bert was the President of the Essex Branch of SOCA as it was then when I joined their branch having moved to that neck of the woods in 1998, I’ve now relocated to Plymouth in 2005 and joined the Plymouth Branch of the Submarine Association, rising to the dizzy height of Chairman of the branch (anything over two feet gets me dizzy being vertically challenged myself). Martin has now fixed his sights on doing what he achieved in Alderney with the help of others, and replicate the same in Portsmouth See you there if you are Going I went Last Year and Had a Great Day and met some Long Lost Shipmates Have a Great one Everyone I will.
